The purposes of this study were to develop multi - media instructional package on polynomial for Mathayomsuksa Three students and to determine its effects on students achievement and learning attitudes. The sample consisted of 90 Mathayomsuksa Three students of Samchukratanapokaram School, Suphanburi. Research instruments included the instructional package with accompanying lesson plans, and the data collecting instruments consisting of the polynomail achievement tests for pre - testing and the post - testing, and the attitude test on polynomial learning through multimedia instructional package. Findings showed that the multi - media instructional package had the E(,1)/E(,2) efficiency rate of 75.5/76.7. The posttest achievement scores of the students who learned through the instructional package were found to be significantly higher, at the 0.05 level, than the pre-test achievement scores. Comparison between the students who learned through the instructional package and those who learned under the conventional approach showed that the former groups mean achievement acore was significantly higher, at the 0.05 level, than that of the latter group. Moreover, students who learned through the instructional package were found to have favorable attitudes toward learning with the package. The package was found to help make the lesson more interesting and easier to understand, and save teaching time allowing the teacher to have more interaction with students. |
